FIDe Fashion Weeks (Julien Fournié x Love, Bonito)
I guess the main highlight of Fide Fashion Weeks @ Marina Bay Sands was the closing showcase by Julien Fournié x Love, Bonito. Tickets were sold out very quickly thus I was pretty depressed when I didn’t manage to get it.
Thankfully the wonderful pixies from Love, Bonito saw my Instagram shoutout and decided to bless me with free tickets to the showcase. God, I was so excited!
The very first collaboration between a haute couture designer and a “local blogshop” brand, wonder what kind of chemistry would be created. To be very honest, I have been a huge fan of Love, Bonito (in fact, it was ever since they were previously known as “Bonito Chico”) because of their designs and quality.
I love how some pieces are very funky and vibrant (very Julien Fournié) while the other designs are mainly elegant with a touch of details. Heard news that they will be launching these designs on their
website pretty soon, so those who are interested can quickly sign up for the newsletter. :)

Fide Fashion Weeks (Julien Fournié)
Who would have thought a Medicine student with a degree in Biology would suddenly decide to change his career and take on Fashion?
Since then, he started working with brands like Nina Ricci, Christian Dior, Givenchy and even Céline with Jean Paul Gaultier. Eventually he launched his own line of Haute Couture and prêt-à-porter designs.
This year, he decided to keep his fun and vibrant inspirations and reveal the darker side. Dramatic lines, patterns and earthy tones sure brings our jaw to the floor.

FIDe Fashion Weeks (Yumi Katsura)
My very first show at the Fide Fashion Weeks @ Marina Bay Sands, Singapore was Yumi Katsura. She is regarded as one of Japan’s (and even the world’s) most prolific wedding designer. With her focus mainly on Haute Couture (hand-made, custom fitted), she never fail to innovate and create new fusion possibilities.
The following pieces will showcase the combination of Japanese elements and western influence in her designs.
After browsing through her various collections, I’m truly amazed, inspired and sure hope to attend future showcase by Yumi Katsura.

The Panic Room
Some say that The Panic Room (previously located at 62 Neil Road, now at 311A Geylang Road) is #singaporesmallestbarbershop but this place sure have lots of talents and hidden treasures.
From basic hair cuts, to dapper hairstyles and even hair tattoos, Mervyn can transform boys into men. If your dream is to be that prom king, the dapper dude at school/work, or just hoping to lose that dorky/nerdy/geeky vibe, Mervyn is definitely the person to look for!
Do remember to make an appointment before heading down. You can LIKE their Facebook page or visit their website for hair & shave merchandises too! :)
